J. Stevens Model 235 Side-by-Side Shotgun, #A33506, 12 ga., 30'' barrels, 2-3/4" chambers, choked Full/Mod, blue finish, case hardened receiver, brass bead front sight, checkered round knob walnut stock, hard rubber J. Stevens buttplate, extractors, double triggers, and exposed hammers. Mfg'd circa 1920-1931. LOP is 14". Overall condition is good, showing general age and wear. Barrels retain approx. 10%-15% factory finish with remainder turning to a dark gray patina; case colors have faded in all but the protected areas. Left side of receiver is stamped "SECOND". Stock and forend are sound with no visible cracks. There is light oil staining on the surfaces next to metal; checkering is worn. Action locks up tight. Bores are bright with right barrel having a small area of frosting at the mid-point. Est.: $150-$300. (C&R)
