^Lot 2299 Circa 1920 Grammont Eurieult French Bougie Candlestick Telephone with Dual Receivers (13.5 in.)

French bougie-form candlestick telephone with a faceted octagonal wood base, tapered wooden column, brass-toned fittings, and curved metal receiver hooks. The configuration includes a wood-handled main handset and a separate circular earpiece, sometimes termed a "mother-in-law" receiver, together with cloth-covered cords. The receiver housings are engraved "Eurieult Paris" and "Ste Grammont Sr," with the numbers 4371 and 6636. A metal plaque on the base references "Téléphonie Intégrale," 11 Boulevard de Courcelles, Paris. Accompanied by an illustrated reference sheet identifying the telephone as a Grammont bougie-form model, circa 1920.
