^Lot 5358 BRITISH FLINTOCK BLUNDERBUSS.

It is fitted with a 14" bbl with 1 7/8" bell and British proofs. The lock is of British mfg with light borderline engraving. There is a replaced internal spring and a few replacement screws with remainder of the internal components being of period. The brass mounts are embellished with small engraved accents and borderline engraving. The straight grip walnut stock is held to the bbl with double pins. CONDITION: Overall fair. The iron bbl, and lock have extensive pitting and a dark patina. The brass has a pleasing mellow yellow patina with scattered dings. The stock has extensive worming, a few cracks, some denting and handling marks. Bore is dark and pitted. (01-29232/ZAL) ANTIQUE $1000-1500
