REVOLVER. Cal. 455 Eley. S# 2339. Bbl. 6 1/2" with British sale proofs on left side. Round blade front sight. Fixed rear sight. Matching numbers on frame, right grip panel, bbl., extractor & cyl. Varied parts have British proofs. Blued finish with case colored hammer & trigger. Checkered diamond center grips with gold S&W medallions. Lanyard ring present. UNATTACHED ACCESSORIES: wooden display case named to Harry Rickards with slots for 24 cartridges. CONDITION: grips show some staining, checkering wear & handling marks. Hammer & trigger retain most of their case colors with light oxidation specks. Balance of metal retains 70% bl ue with scattered areas flaking to gray, some edge wear, handling marks & light oxidation. Action functions properly when hand cycled.
