BOLT ACITON RIFLE. Cal. 30-06. S# G974331. Bbl. 22"; plug screws for bases. Redfield 3-9x duplex scope on Redfield rings & base. Standard Model 70 push feed action w/ jeweled matching numbered bolt. Floorplate assembly & grip cap have stunning deep relief & gold inlay engraving signed "Obiltschnig". Engraving shows moose on floorplate, lion on triggerguard & roebuck on grip cap, accented with floral scroll & gold inlays. Walnut stock w/ raised rollover cheekpiece, fancy wrap around fleur-de-lis style checkering on wrist & forearm along with curved checkered steel buttplate. CONDITION: very good to near excellent blue with a few spots of cleaned oxidation. Very good wood finish w/ large scuff right side buttstock. Sharp rifling. Scope has original finish with serviceable optics. (26-1969/MD). MODERN. $3,500-6,000.
