Barrel is marked on left side with British export proofs and a crown "BNP" appears on the top of the receiver ring. Barrel erosion gauge will not fully enter chamber. Muzzle gauges 1.0. Flush nut rear sight with battle range elevation knob. Blade front sight with protective ears. Receiver has a series of holes on the left side to accommodate an M1C scope mount. Holes are open. All major parts markings are "SA" including the uncut operating rod and milled trigger guard. Single slot gas cylinder lock screw. Stacking swivel and screw are not present. Front sling swivel and screw are likewise not present. Walnut stock set. Grip has tiny encircled "P" proof underneath with tiny encircled "crossed cannons". CONDITION: stock set with its arsenal rework finish has a very dark stained appearance with wear and numerous handling marks throughout. Metal retains 70% of its original parkerized finish with moderate wear. Bore has visible rifling with a dark oxidized appearance. (26-2209/RW). CURIO. $1,000-1,500.
