Lot 1150 FULLY TRANSFERABLE STERLING SUBMACHINE GUN

BUILT ON DLO TUBE. Cal 9mm Para. S# 800250. Bbl 8.5" Fixed post front sight with protected ears. Dual Aperture flip peep rear sight with protected ears. The Sterling SMG was originally developed by G.W. Patchett in the 1940s and originally named simply "The Patchett". Several variations were tested & offered, including semiautomatic-only carbines, & numerous versions of the SMGs that were eventually adopted by New Zealand, Canada, India & the United Kingdom. NFA registry indicates "DLO" as manufacturer w/ model as MK2. Tube marked on left side at rear: "DLO STAMFORD CT. 800250". Three position right handed selector. MAGS: 1. CONDITION: Textured black hard coat finish complete & consistent w/ little sign of prior use. Bright bore w/ sharp rifling. Fire control mechanism appears to function correctly when cycled by hand.
