Lot 4 SUZIE WINTER GRACE
2021 AQHA Bay Gelding x Peptos Stylish Grace x Petpos Stylish Oak out of Little Peppy Dixie x Little Peppy Sam
Colby is a 5-year-old bay AQHA gelding, standing at 15.1 hands, with a sturdy build and those striking chrome markings that make him so charming. He can be a bit nervous on the ground—he gets easily startled and is very aware of people around him. Colby needs a calm, experienced handler who can gently and confidently approach and be around him, helping him build trust. But once you’re in the saddle, Colby shines like a star and is one of my favorite horses to ride at the barn! He’s incredibly smart, quick, and athletic—one of those rare horses that can really wow you with his skills. He can free lunge over fences as high as 4’6” with ease, showing impressive power and grace. His agility is off the charts; he can dig a hole in the ground when you say whoah, sidepass smoothly at all gaits (walk, jog, and lope), and can do a rollback faster on the rail than many cutters you’ll see out there. Colby also has an automatic lead change, as you can see in his detailed video. On top of all that, he has a finished neck rein and responds beautifully to leg cues, making him a true pleasure to ride. He’s also experienced on the trail, unfazed by bikes, runners, and even the chaos of downtown traffic. Bridges, lakes, rivers, tunnels—you name it, Colby has crossed or gone through it without hesitation. He’s genuinely a cool horse to ride and would be #1 on my list to keep if I had an extra spot for a personal horse. Come check him out and feel free to watch his video or get in touch with any further questions! He has an absolutely incredible and detailed video. Willing to hold for 1 week.
