Lot 1 ROOSTER
2016 GRADE Buckskin Gelding.
Rooster is a 13 year old Quarter Horse gelding standing 14.3 hands tall with a beautiful buckskin dun coat and the kind of quiet, dependable demeanor everyone searches for. He is safe, seasoned, and truly “been there, done that.” Rooster rides around very nicely in the arena with a true one hand neck rein, correct pivots, side passes easily to open and shut gates, and responds willingly to light cues while staying forgiving and easy to ride. He will trot around collected with a nice headset, lope smooth circles catching both leads, has a solid stop, and stands patiently to mount. Rooster has excellent ground manners and is easy to be around in every way. He is simple to bridle and saddle, stands well for grooming and baths, leads respectfully, loads easily into a trailer, and hauls quietly. You can confidently throw a rope off him or carry a flag with ease. He enjoys attention and is extremely easy to get along with both on the ground and under saddle. Out on the trail, Rooster has seen many miles and all kinds of terrain. He is exceptionally sure footed and takes great care of his rider. He has been through water, over fallen logs, around dogs, and is happy to ride out alone or with a group. He does well stalled or turned out on pasture, is easy to catch, and gets along well with other horses. Rooster completed a full health and wellness exam on 5/5/26 and is ready to be someone’s dependable partner. Whether you’re looking for a reliable ranch horse or a trustworthy trail companion, Rooster fits the bill perfectly. His calm temperament and versatility make him ideal for riders of various skill levels. Don’t miss the chance to own a horse that combines experience, gentleness, and solid training in one beautiful package. We can help arrange delivery anywhere in the United States.
