Main Description: Blade front sight with ramp, u notched rear sight with three folding leafs, tapered round barrel, checkered side opening breech block, lock marked with US Eagle 1864 US Bridesburg, checkered spur hammer that functions, Reference Flayderman 8th ed, p 473, bought as percussion muskets by the Fenians confiscated 1866 returned 1867 converted to breech loading by Needham Patent. One piece full military wood stock, straight grip, smooth curved steel butt plate, sling swivels, three barrel bands, ramrod, steel nose cap.

Wear: Metal finish turning silver grey with light pitting, rust speckles, scratches, handling marks and wear. Stocks show marks, scratches and wear.
