Lot 150 Antique Mother of Pearl Silver Asian Pendant

Item/Description: This interesting Mother-of-Pearl and silver Asian motif necklace pendant started its life out as the lid of a reliquary pendant or trinket box as evident by the three tubular hinges present. Carved slice of Mother of Pearl features a galloping horse wearing a crown. The reverse has three figures in discourse. Fine detail. Scalloped edges set down ( and secured with glue) into a textured Silver frame with an organic design. Fixed bale with simple hanging loop. Unsigned.

Dimensions: Height: 2" (without bale); Width: 2 3/4"; Approximately 36.3 grams

Condition: Mother-of-Pearl free of chips, cracks. Secure in setting. Signs of age, use, and wear including scratches, scuffs, and denting to metal frame. Hanging bale intact.
