Item Description: Fabulous and beautifully designed 1940s era Etruscan style jeweled brooch designed for the movie "Thief of Bagdad". Ornate gold tone tone lacy domed mounting. Three dimensional. Center floral shaped starburst design with colorful teardrop shaped rhinestones, white and blue enamel accents. Produced by the Rice-Weiner Company in the early 1940s to promote director Alexander Korda's movie, The Thief of Bagdad.
