Jeanne Gevaert (1923–2017) was a Belgian-American sculptor, working primarily in clay, who created a bronze artwork installed at the Smithsonian's National Zoo.

Dimensions: Length: 12 1/2"; Width: 6"; Height: 14 1/4". Including base: Length: 13"; Width: 6"; Height: 18 1/2". Weight: Approx. 30 lbs.
Condition: Signs of age and wear including surface scratches to the sculpture and chipping to both the sculpture and base. No visible repairs noted.
