A vintage hand carved, hand painted mechanical wooden bottle stopper made in Italy by the company Anri, featuring a chef figurine stirring a bowl. There is a lever on the back, when pulled down, causes the chef's hand with the spoon to move towards his mouth. The figure is made of hand carved wood, and the stopper is made of cork. Anri bottle stoppers are often dated to the 1940s-1960s. Designed to fit a standard wine bottle.
