^Lot 434 A Pair of "The CooCoo Nut Grove" Celebrity Caricature Production Cels.

(Schlesinger, 1936) A pair of production cels of Stan Laurel as a monkey and “Tarzan” actor Johnny Weissmuller and his wife Lupe Vélez from the Merrie Melodies short “The CooCoo Nut Grove.” Both cels are trimmed to the character image measuring 5.5” x 3.5” and 7.25” x 8”, and are in good to very good condition with 0.25” x 0.25” areas of tape in each corner which do not affect the image and light spots of paint loss and heavy paint loss on Vélez’s face of the “Tarzan” cel.
