^Lot 23 Antique Marlin Model 1892 Lever Action Rifle in Scarce 22 Rimfire Caliber

Made by Marlin Firearms Company in 1898 with a serial number of 172887. Made until the onset of the Model 1897 in 22 Rimfire. 24" blued octagon 22 caliber barrel with rifle sights and Marlin two-line address. Case-hardened takedown frame with plain trigger full blued tubular magazine, "Model 1892" tang marking and top of receiver marked "Marlin Safety". Standard plain walnut stocks with Marlin hard rubber butt plate. CALIBER: 22 Rimfire. S/N: 172887. FFL STATUS: Antique.
CONDITION
Overall fair with metal turning plum and areas of oxidation and cleaning. Frosted bore with visible rifling and good mechanics.
